Description

You will build and maintain scalable FHIR-based microservices and APIs for health data exchange.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement FHIR-based APIs and integrations for health data exchange.
• Develop Kafka connectors and producers/consumers for real-time, event-driven data processing.
• Automate the software delivery lifecycle using CI/CD pipelines and manage code repositories on GitHub.
• Conduct comprehensive unit, integration, and performance testing of APIs and integrations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Java Developer building APIs and event-driven architectures.
• 5+ years of experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• 3+ years of experience with FHIR standards and protocols (HL7).
• 3+ years of experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven applications.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub for version control.
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
• 3+ years of experience with RESTful API design and JSON/XML data formats.
• 3+ years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL or NoSQL database technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
