Description

You will lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise healthcare applications and state-based marketplace solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers through the full software development lifecycle using Agile practices.
• Architect and design n-tier applications encompassing UI, business logic, and data access layers.
• Integrate Java applications with complex business rules engines and web services.
• Maintain and support enterprise information technology platforms and health exchange systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years designing, developing, or supporting enterprise IT platforms.
• 6+ years with State-based marketplace (SBM), Health and Human Service, or ACA solutions.
• 6+ years architecting and developing healthcare applications in Java.
• 4+ years leading a development team.
• Strong knowledge of SOA, web services internals, and Java design patterns.
• Proficiency with Eclipse IDE, SVN/GIT, and REST services.
• Experience with n-tier architectures and Agile software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years designing and integrating complex public-facing applications.
• 8+ years with Java/J2EE, Spring, Struts, JPA, Hibernate, and Enterprise Service Bus.
• 5+ years developing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
