Description

You will design, build, and maintain REST API services using Java, Spring, and Hibernate to handle large volume datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, low latency, fault-tolerant architecture solutions for customer-facing web and mobile applications.
• Own end-to-end migration of back-end services and database platform from Oracle DB to Azure Cosmos DB.
• Develop data communication between back-end systems using Kafka.
• Develop unit and automation testing frameworks, suites, and mocks using Selenium, Mockito, JUnit, and TestNG to achieve 100% code coverage.
• Utilize Splunk for monitoring application health and running JMeter for load testing software behavior.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency with REST API design and implementation.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat.
• Familiarity with SDLC phases within an Agile development environment.
• Experience with Kafka for data streaming.
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks including Selenium, Mockito, and JUnit.
• Experience with Git version control and Jenkins for CI/CD integration.
