Description

You will develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications within the full system development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build new application components and modify existing code based on detailed requirements.
• Analyze requirements, support design, and manage development, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and compliance with standards.
• Document technical work and maintain developed solutions on an ongoing basis.
• Define system scope, enhance processes, and resolve operational problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Experience with JavaScript, servlets, and JDBC.
• Hands-on knowledge of Struts and Hibernate frameworks.
• Familiarity with WebSphere, WSAD, and MQSeries.
• Database experience with DB2 and SQL.
• Working knowledge of UNIX (AIX) and UNIX scripting.
• Experience with code deployment, versioning, and configuration management.
• Ability to work within established development methodologies and regulatory requirements.
