Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java/JEE applications and provide production support for critical systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and document Java/JEE applications based on customer requirements.
• Maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, data mapping, and program logic.
• Provide production support for mission-critical applications, including occasional evening or weekend work.
• Manage multiple projects with dynamic priorities and provide accurate effort estimates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of expertise in Core Java (OOP Design, Multi-Threading, Generics, Exception Handling, Collections, Reflection, and Annotations).
• 5+ years of experience building enterprise applications using Java EE technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with ORM frameworks, configuration management, and build/testing tools.
• 5+ years of experience with relational database concepts, specifically Oracle, and the SDLC.
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git workflows.
• 3+ years of experience with IBM SOA products (IIB, ODM, WAS, WTX, MQ).
• 2+ years of experience with application servers and multiple operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows).
• 1+ year of experience in production support for mission-critical applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Healthcare EDI HIPAA X12 transactions and Medicaid.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Frontend development experience using Node.js and Express.
