Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for the Local Government Services Division, translating business requirements into secure, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications integrating with existing Java systems.
• Analyze system problems to create technical solutions and maintain documentation.
• Communicate technical details to business users to resolve support inquiries.
• Research and implement new technologies to support continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, J2SE, and J2EE.
• Experience with Struts and Spring frameworks.
• Web development experience using Tomcat servlet containers.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and XML processing in Java.
• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with XSL Stylesheets and Web Services.
• Experience using Eclipse, BIRT Reports, TOAD, SQL Developer, and Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information System Management.
