Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, build scalable search capabilities, and lead technical teams.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable search solutions using Solr or Elasticsearch, managing index builds, sharding, and architectural scaling.
• Develop and manage RESTful web services and backend logic.
• Lead technical teams and coordinate work with distributed teams across different geographies.
• Apply object-oriented design and data structures to solve complex technical problems.
• Operate within Agile methodologies to deliver software increments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with REST web services.
• Practical experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Solr and/or Elasticsearch, including resource planning for scaling.
• Proficiency in Linux programming and Shell scripting.
• Proven team leadership experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JavaScript technologies such as Angular, Node, or Ember.
