Description

You will own the design, development, and release of Java-based software components, working independently to deliver efficient, testable code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java web services (SOAP/REST) and front-end applications using React JS, Next JS, and TypeScript.
• Implement domain-driven design concepts and object-oriented patterns to build scalable microservices.
• Debug, fix, and resolve software defects while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and manage software releases and technical standards with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with other programmers to conceptualize and develop system designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java.
• Strong proficiency with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud.
• 3+ years of experience with JPA2/Hibernate, HQL, JPQL, and Hibernate Criteria.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle 19c, SQLServer) and MongoDB.
• Proficiency in writing test code using JUnit and Mockito.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Git, and build tools like Gradle.
• BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related subject.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and containerization.
• Familiarity with WebLogic 14+ and UI component libraries.
