Description

You will build and maintain Java-based backend applications to support business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug Java applications following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.
• Develop software solutions that meet technical specifications and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure codebase quality and maintainability.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in the Java programming language.
• Experience with Java frameworks including Spring and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in SQL and database design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Hands-on experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies.
• At least two years of intermediate Java application development experience.

Preferred Skills

• College degree in CS with an emphasis in software development or a recent enterprise Java Developer bootcamp certification.
