Description

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications for credit and debit card lifecycle management, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and dispute handling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support payment processing and card management systems.
• Implement RESTful APIs and messaging solutions using Kafka and MQ for transaction routing.
• Integrate with external networks such as Mastercard and Amex, ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS and financial security regulations.
• Manage the end-to-end SDLC, including requirements, design, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to resolve incidents within SLA timelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Kafka and MQ for asynchronous messaging.
• Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems and card lifecycle management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial security regulations and PCI-DSS compliance.
• Background in integrating with major card networks like Mastercard or Amex.
