Description

You will develop and maintain web-based applications using Java and J2EE technologies in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirement analysis and execute high-level and low-level design tasks.
• Develop and optimize front-end user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Deploy application releases and system upgrades to production environments and database servers.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain server-side web service applications.
• Develop test protocols and review results for revised applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in a related IT occupation.
• Strong proficiency in JAVA and J2EE.
• Experience with PL/SQL and ORACLE database management.
• Front-end development skills using HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Working knowledge of UNIX environments.
• Ability to perform complex code development and requirement gathering.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience).
