Description

You will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable Java applications, owning the full lifecycle from development to production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable Java code, identifying bottlenecks and bugs to devise effective solutions.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Troubleshoot development and production issues to ensure system stability and performance.
• Coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities to complete application development milestones.
• Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development with a deep understanding of the JVM, its limitations, and workarounds.
• Proficiency in Java web frameworks such as Play and Spark.
• Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks including Swing, SWT, and AWT.
• Experience with both external and embedded databases.
• Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Experience with build tools like Ant, Maven, or Gradle.
• Working knowledge of JSP, Struts, Spring, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
