Description

Design and implement scalable microservice-based platforms using Java and Spring frameworks, owning the full lifecycle from REST API design to cloud deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Define Swagger specifications for REST APIs and adhere to REST principles.
• Develop and maintain transformations and APIs for customers and partners.
• Apply OAuth token-based authentication and follow PCI and Security Coding Standards.
• Build and deploy applications within cloud environments using 12-factor app methodologies.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, specifically Java 7 or 8.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Integration.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and RESTful service frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Knowledge of API Gateway and management platforms like API Connect.
• Experience with Spring MVC and Struts Framework.
• Competency with JSON, Maven, Jenkins, Gradle, and GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing within Cloud-based PaaS offerings.
