Description

You will build and maintain Java-based microservices and web applications, owning the full development lifecycle from design to production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST and SOAP APIs using Spring Boot, ensuring adherence to OWASP security standards.
• Architect and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS, integrating with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Create proof-of-concepts for new technologies and champion business cases based on synthesized results.
• Manage DevSecOps pipelines, monitoring, and source control policies to ensure code quality and security.
• Support existing production services by enhancing monitoring capabilities and reducing technical debt.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience with Java 8 or above and backend development.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, including Spring Security and Spring Crypto.
• Strong proficiency in building microservices and designing RESTful web services.
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Experience with version control (GIT) and message brokers (RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and Agile methodologies (Scrum, JIRA, Confluence).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
