Description

You will build and maintain scalable serverless applications using AWS Lambda.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions using Java 8, 11, or 21.
• Build backend services and APIs leveraging API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Manage data persistence using Aurora RDS MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, and infrastructure as code tools (SAM/CDK/CloudFormation).
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance across cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java (8/11/21).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless and Lambda.
• Knowledge of SQL (Aurora RDS) and DynamoDB.
• Experience in CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of REST APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with core AWS services: API Gateway, SNS, SQS, S3.
