Key Responsibilities Architect Agentic Systems: Design resilient multi-agent frameworks using Java Spring AI, or Google’s Java SDKs to handle complex reasoning tasks. Orchestrate Complex Workflows: Develop stateful, event-driven, and looping agent patterns that execute multi-step operations autonomously. Deploy Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Build and manage containerized agent microservices utilizing GCP Cloud Run, Cloud Run Jobs, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Implement Tool & Function Calling: Connect Java-based agents seamlessly to external enterprise APIs, legacy data systems, and internal tools. Optimize AI Pipelines: Integrate agents with AI models (Gemini) while managing cost, latency, token limits, and prompt engineering strategies. Required Qualifications & Skills Backend Expertise: Highly proficient in Java 17/21 and the Spring Boot ecosystem for building production-grade microservices. AI & Agentic Frameworks: Hands-on experience with LangChain4j, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, vector databases, and function calling mechanisms. GCP Cloud Infrastructure: Deep technical knowledge of Google Cloud services including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions. DevOps & Containers: Strong experience with containerization tools (Docker, Jib, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build).
