Description

You will own the design and delivery of high-volume, low-latency Java applications while mentoring junior engineers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices.
• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives and technical specifications.
• Develop, test, and debug software throughout the full SDLC.
• Create detailed design documentation and propose infrastructure improvements.
• Mentor junior team members on best practices and code quality.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency with Hibernate and Spring JDBC for database operations.
• Experience working with relational databases and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Working knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control.
• Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD processes.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum frameworks.
