Description

You will design, build, and secure enterprise distributed systems with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of secure single sign-on (SSO), federation, and identity lifecycle management workflows.
• Design and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices using Java 17/21 and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Implement fine-grained access controls, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
• Integrate applications with enterprise IAM/IdP solutions like Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Okta, or AWS Cognito.
• Conduct threat modeling, code reviews, and vulnerability remediation to meet strict compliance standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java, specifically Java 17 or 21.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot for backend development.
• Deep knowledge of IAM standards: Auth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, and JWT.
• Experience with directory services: LDAP, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and secure token handling.
• Understanding of modern web security protocols (CORS, cookies).
• Ability to integrate risk scoring engines into CIAM flows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Transmit Security for identity orchestration or passwordless authentication.
• Familiarity with LexisNexis ThreatMetrix for device fingerprinting and fraud detection.
