Description

You design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and back-end services for Comcast platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable code for back-end services.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and deployment.
• Debug, profile, and tune applications for performance and reliability.
• Integrate work into CI/CD pipelines and adhere to code review processes.
• Maintain documentation for technical designs and support plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs or SOAP web services.
• Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
