Description

You will build and maintain distributed Java applications using modern language versions and infrastructure-as-code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using versions 11, 17, and 21.
• Design and implement data models using UML concepts.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure in AWS environments using Terraform.
• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Manage caching systems and in-memory databases like RocksDB or ElastiCache.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java programming.
• Proficiency with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience with Terraform-based infrastructure deployment in AWS.
• Knowledge of messaging systems including Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Experience with stream processing technologies such as Flink, Flume, Spark, or Ray.
• Understanding of distributed system design and ZooKeeper.
• Familiarity with data modeling and UML.
• Exposure to Scala and Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Protobuf, Avro, and FlatBuffer serialization formats.
• Knowledge of Parquet and Iceberg table formats, data warehouses, and lakehouse concepts.
