Description

Develop and maintain distributed microservices and scalable server components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Micronaut or Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and network layer protocols.
• Develop efficient data schemas and SQL queries for Postgres or time series databases.
• Write and maintain code using automated test frameworks.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional software development experience using OOP.
• Proficiency in Java and Go.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong skills in REST API and protocol design.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka or pub-sub message queues.
• Knowledge of stream processing systems.
