Description

You will develop and maintain web-based applications and RESTful web services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage production environment problem determination, remediation, and reporting.
• Deliver business-requested enhancements and improvements to web applications.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to optimize technical design and performance.
• Maintain application artifacts, documentation, and report source data issues.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java 1.8 and J2EE.
• Proficiency with Tomcat and WebSphere.
• Extensive experience with JSP and Servlets.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring MVC, and Jersey frameworks.
• Working knowledge of SOAP and REST web services within SOA architectures.
• Strong frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular, and React.
• Experience with XML and JSON markup languages.
• Proficiency in SQL, Linux environments, and RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
