Description

You will design and develop a workflow-driven account opening application using microservices architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka, MQ, or other messaging technologies.
• Develop APIs and integrations for internal systems and external platforms.
• Design asynchronous messaging patterns to ensure reliable delivery and fault tolerance in distributed environments.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit or Mockito and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or IBM MQ.
• Experience designing event-driven and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Proficiency in multi-threading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services, specifically Securities Services or Custody.
• Knowledge of workflow engines and business process automation.
