You will build and maintain complex, scalable systems within an agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement applications using Java/J2EE and middleware systems.
• Develop client-facing web interfaces using GWT.
• Manage the end-to-end development cycle from requirements analysis through maintenance.
• Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and bugs in production code.
• Document technical specifications and functional flows to drive projects.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java/J2EE software engineering experience in capital markets.
• Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience with distributed caching solutions like EhCache.
• Familiarity with messaging systems: Kafka, JMS, MQ, and Tibco.
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat.
• Proficiency with database technologies: Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle, or RDBMS.
• Knowledge of build tools: Maven and ANT.
• Experience with version control: GIT or SVN.
• Understanding of Agile processes, including Scrum and XP.
