Description

You will own end-to-end SDLC execution for insurance client applications, developing and enhancing Core Engineering systems using Java and Microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Core Engineering applications using Java.
• Implement and deliver Microservices APIs using Spring Boot.
• Conduct technical briefings and demonstrations for stakeholders.
• Apply Agile Delivery Methodology and Scrum collaboration practices.
• Ensure clean, object-oriented code with Test Driven Development.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Core Java, including data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading.
• Practical experience with Spring Boot framework and RESTful services.
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (Oracle and SQL Server).
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Understanding of SOA or Microservices architecture delivery.
• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the insurance domain.
