Description

You will design and maintain backend systems for banking and capital markets platforms, focusing on trade capture, margin calculation, and OMS modules.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust Java/J2EE applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Implement REST APIs and asynchronous messaging with JMS and MQ.
• Optimize application performance using multithreading and Unix-based environments.
• Manage database interactions via Oracle or Sybase.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Java and J2EE development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with JMS, MQ, and multithreading.
• Practical knowledge of Unix, Oracle, and Sybase.
• Recent and past project experience in Banking Domain.
• Experience with Capital Markets, Prime Brokerage, Trade Capture, or Margin Calculation.
• Must be local or nearby NJ/NYC.
