Description

Build and maintain enterprise web applications using Java, Spring MVC, and Liferay.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based applications using Java, Spring MVC, and Liferay 7.x.
• Design, deploy, and manage applications on Tomcat 9.0+ or similar application servers.
• Integrate SOAP and RESTful web services for hosting and consumption.
• Implement frontend components using JavaScript, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Support production deployments, monitor application performance, and resolve live issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring MVC.
• Hands-on experience with Liferay 7.x and Tomcat 9.0+.
• Proficiency in JavaScript APIs, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Strong understanding of SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Experience with web caching and server-side optimization.
• Knowledge of XML and integration mechanisms.
• Familiarity with PL/SQL, Oracle, and SQL Server databases.
• Ability to perform code reviews and contribute to application architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Angular or React.
• Experience with multi-technology platform environments and VM templates.
