Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy microservices on OpenShift or similar container platforms.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) including schema design and query optimization.
• Apply TDD/BDD practices to ensure high-quality, testable code.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above) with 10+ years of experience.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or containerization technologies.
• Solid understanding of TDD and BDD frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber).
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Principles (SOLID).
• Experience with RESTful web services and API design.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
