What's the Job?

• Join an Agile team to refine requirements with users, then design and develop high-quality, scalable systems.
• Spend the majority of your time on active development tasks—hands-on coding is a core expectation.
• Collaborate with the team to support the QA/UAT process by assisting users and stakeholders during testing and validation.
• Write and maintain unit tests and acceptance/behavior tests to help ensure reliability and correctness.
• Participate in a production support rota to help maintain system stability and respond to operational needs.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of professional experience developing solutions with core Java.
• 2+ years of professional experience developing solutions with Scala or another functional language.
• Experience writing unit tests and acceptance/behavior tests.
• Strong data structure, algorithm, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering quality code on a timely basis.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (including pair programming and daily stand-ups) and working effectively with a shared code base using continuous integration
