Description

Design, build, and maintain web-based applications using 3-tier architecture, owning backend logic, database design, and API implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Design and implement database schemas, including triggers, functions, and stored procedures.
• Build and maintain REST APIs using JSON and XML formats.
• Implement secured coding practices to mitigate OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Write and maintain unit tests and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Advanced Java.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Hibernate framework and Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in at least two RDBMS (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or IBM DB2).
• Frontend experience with Angular, React, JSP, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of SVN, bug tracking, and test case repository tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with software effort estimation.
• Ability to identify and fix OWASP security vulnerabilities.
