Description

You will design and implement scalable backend systems using Java and cloud-native technologies, transitioning manual workflows to event-driven architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions using Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Re-engineer manual processes to support event-driven architecture with Kafka.
• Ensure seamless integration across all layers of the technology stack.
• Mentor junior engineers and define scalable technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of backend Java development experience.
• Deep expertise in Core Java, including multi-threading and concurrency.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven patterns.
• Practical knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in AWS and DevOps environments.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
• Ability to apply design patterns to solve complex problems.

Preferred Skills

• Financial services background, specifically regarding the investment process.
