Lead technical direction for projects while building scalable backend systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
• Own technical aspects of projects and make strategic implementation decisions.
• Collaborate with Development Project Managers to ensure requirements are met.
• Manage teams to maintain high software quality by establishing development standards.
• Define product life cycle phases, milestones, and documentation processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
• Expertise with the SpringBoot Framework.
• Experience developing RESTful Web Services and APIs.
• Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of streaming systems, specifically Kafka.
• Proficiency with JSON and YAML data formats.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC principles.
• Experience with quality/security scanning tools like Sonar/SonarQube.
