Description

You will lead backend development efforts using Java and Spring Boot within an AWS environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and manage data pipelines using Spark and AWS EMR.
• Deploy and orchestrate services using Docker, Jenkins, and Git.
• Implement unit tests using Mockito or Pytest to ensure code quality.
• Manage data storage across Cassandra, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EMR, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Kinesis, S3, ElastiCache/Redis, Fargate).
• Proficiency with Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB).
• Ability to write code in a scripting language.
• Experience with RESTful Web Services.

Preferred Skills

• Front-end development experience.
