Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend components for scalable eCommerce and merchandising applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications using cloud platform technologies and micro-services architecture.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on product design and ship features.
• Monitor performance and usability to rectify traffic or stability issues.
• Review application code and plan future API upgrades with the development team.
• Identify and uphold engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing large-scale web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java and data structures.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Persistence, REST, Messaging, and Integrations).
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Experience with messaging architectures such as Kafka or MQ Series.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Apache Storm.
• Experience with Golang or similar languages.
