Description

You will design, develop, and maintain in-house software applications and third-party integrations within a complex fulfillment ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, deploy, and improve software applications and integrated third-party systems.
• Lead the implementation of industry-standard patterns to ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers in software development principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on product design and implementation.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while providing off-hours support for escalations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience (or 5 years with an advanced degree).
• 3+ years of experience with Java 1.7+, J2EE, JPA/EJB, and Spring Framework.
• 3+ years of experience designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs using Swagger and OpenAPI.
• 3+ years of experience with messaging technologies such as JMS, AMPQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Active MQ.
• Extensive SQL and PL/SQL development experience, including high-performance, concurrent database design.
• Experience leveraging Docker and CI/CD automation for testing, building, and deploying code.
• 1+ years of experience deploying via native cloud services (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Proficiency with GIT, JIRA, and Oracle databases.
• Experience collaborating to secure data according to HIPAA, PI, and PCI standards.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of retail pharmacy or healthcare services processes.
• Scripting experience with Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience building high-volume, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems.
