Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and related technologies, owning the full development lifecycle from requirements to production.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Java and J2EE standards.
• Build and consume REST APIs, integrating frontend and backend components.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging across production and non-production environments.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and identify application issues.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance development workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java programming.
• Strong experience with J2EE standards and architecture.
• Proven ability to build and consume REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing using JMeter.
• Experience monitoring application logs and troubleshooting using Splunk.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
