Description

You will build and support core applications within an investment banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop software using Java 1.6, focusing on multi-threading and JVM performance optimization.
• Collaborate with partners to collect requirements, manage schedules, and coordinate development activities.
• Design and implement solutions for cash or derivative asset classes.
• Write unit tests, regression tests, and user test cases to ensure code quality.
• Provide technical documentation and user-friendly support tools for the development team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of senior-level Java development experience.
• Deep understanding of Java 1.6, multi-threading, and JVM internals.
• Experience with Spring and Apache Camel frameworks.
• Proficiency with messaging platforms such as Tibco EMS, RV, or similar.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Ability to script within a Linux environment.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Build Repositories.
• Background in investment banking or working with cash/derivative asset classes.

Preferred Skills

• Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with Ansible, Jenkins Deploy, and Cloud platforms.
