Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise applications integrating J2EE on AIX with IMS-DC on z/OS mainframe systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop J2EE applications using RAD, implementing Singleton, Factory, and DAO design patterns.
• Integrate applications with databases using JDBC or ORM frameworks.
• Implement communication layers utilizing AJAX, WebSphere MQ messaging, web services, and REST.
• Translate user requirements into functional application features.
• Write testable code and perform unit and integration testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java programming and the Java EE ecosystem.
• Experience with JSP, JavaScript, and custom tag libraries.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of database integration using JDBC.
• Ability to create detailed design and technical documentation.
