Description

You will develop messaging services and support ongoing GPI projects using Java.

Responsibilities

• Implement RESTful APIs using Tomcat and handle JSON and XML data formats.
• Develop cryptography implementations within Java.
• Perform code reviews to ensure security, coding standards, and best practices.
• Write unit tests using JUnit to maintain code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java 8.
• Advanced understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Lambda expressions and Streams.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience implementing Web Services and APIs.
• Hands-on work with JSON and XML data formats.
• Experience with Tomcat.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Python scripting experience.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL, Cassandra, or Kafka/Kafka streams.
