Description

You will design, develop, test, and support applications within the financial modeling and research division.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications and services using Java frameworks.
• Write clean code backed by automated unit and integration tests with full coverage.
• Fix defects and address technical debt to maintain software development best practices.
• Coordinate with team members across different infrastructure layers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development and programming experience.
• Strong background in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Kafka and Netflix stack for microservices architecture.
• Expertise in REST API design, development, documentation, and testing.
• Proficiency with Rest API, Java, Sql Server, Sybase, Redis, Mongodb, and Jenkins.
• Experience with build and integration tools including Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Knowledge of application, data, and architecture design patterns and principles.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with fundamental web front-end languages and frameworks.
• Experience writing automated unit, integration, regression, performance, and acceptance tests.
