Description

You will develop Java-based web applications, manage backend logic, and own the release pipeline.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java code and build web application components.
• Construct complex SQL statements for database interaction.
• Perform root cause research and technical analysis.
• Develop batch jobs and web services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Java 6.0 and J2EE application components, including JSP and Custom Tag libraries.
• Experience with Session EJBs, JDBC, and EJB.
• JavaScript proficiency.
• Relational database experience using Oracle and DB2.
• Object-Oriented analysis and design using Singleton, Factory, and DAO patterns.
• Understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0.
• Proficiency using Java IDEs such as RAD 7.5 or above.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WAS 8.0 running in SUSE Linux 11 environments on VMware.
