Description

You will design, build, and maintain Java-based web applications and distributed systems, covering the full software development lifecycle from specification to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business application features and maintain existing systems.
• Analyze functional specifications and write clean, testable code.
• Execute unit testing and resolve technical issues in production.
• Collaborate with support teams and customers to ensure solution quality.

Required Skills

• 7+ years designing and deploying Java/J2EE web applications and SOA-based distributed systems.
• 5+ years implementing SOAP and REST web services.
• 5+ years experience with healthcare messaging standards, specifically HL7.
• 5+ years managing public sector government IT projects.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and C#.
• Experience writing client-side code for REST, GraphQL, or SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Angular, and React.
• Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
