Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications and high-performance microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Optimize application and database performance through SQL tuning, indexing, and execution-plan analysis.
• Develop and consume REST APIs to integrate applications with downstream systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production performance issues, including slow queries and locking bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and production support activities.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on Java application development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, including Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, and JVM Performance Tuning.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Expertise in complex SQL query optimization, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate and JPA.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
