Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain applications and backend services using Java.
Develop scalable and efficient APIs and microservices.
Implement and maintain search and data indexing solutions using Elasticsearch.
Work with Elasticsearch queries, indexes, mappings, aggregations, and performance optimization.
Develop scripts, utilities, and automation solutions using Python when required.
Deploy and support applications in cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Troubleshoot application, integration, performance, and production issues.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps, QA, architects, and product teams.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions and solution design.
Support CI/CD processes and automated application deployments.
Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

3–6 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java.
Experience developing REST APIs and backend applications.
Hands-on knowledge of Elasticsearch, including indexing, querying, mappings, and aggregations.
Experience with Python development or scripting.
Experience working with at least one major cloud platform: GCP or AWS.
Good understanding of microservices and distributed application architectures.
Experience with Git or similar version-control systems.
Understanding of CI/CD and modern software development practices.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within distributed and cross-functional teams.
