Description

You will build backend services and support internal fraud application systems as part of an agile team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy Java applications across the full software development lifecycle.
• Design system features by analyzing user requirements and determining design methodologies.
• Troubleshoot development and production issues across Windows and Linux environments.
• Create technical documentation and assistance tools to support users.
• Set feature priorities within the agile development cycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Java experience, including proficiency with Java 21.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Experience building REST and SOAP APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Java EE platforms and Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Proficiency with Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies including JPA2 and Hibernate.
• Experience with web frameworks such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Banking or Financial Services.
• Experience managing vendor systems and platforms.
• Knowledge of OpenShift and deployment pipelines.
