You will build and maintain APIs and web applications using Java and cloud services in Michigan, USA.

Responsibilities

• Code, optimize, and support Java and web-based applications.
• Design, implement, and integrate RESTful web APIs.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot, support, and enhance existing applications.
• Conduct in-depth peer code reviews to maintain clean and efficient codebases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong fundamentals in Java programming and modern frameworks.
• Extensive experience developing web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful web APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in object-oriented development and design patterns.
• Experience with AWS services and serverless technologies.
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD), unit testing, and clean code practices.
• Proficiency in developing secure code for web, cloud, and data environments.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of DevOps and automation practices.
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
