Description

You will design, enhance, and fine-tune Business Intelligence applications using Java technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deploy Java web applications integrated with BI systems.
• Lead application development and address maintenance issues.
• Migrate Java applications to ensure compatibility with browser, server, and technology upgrades.
• Create technical documentation including deployment guides, release notes, and unit test recommendations.
• Provide walkthroughs of release documentation to deployment teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and JavaScript.
• Experience writing reusable Java libraries.
• Knowledge of Java GUI frameworks such as Swing, SWT, or AWT.
• Understanding of WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Working knowledge of the JVM, including its limitations and workarounds.
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficiency with Git and continuous integration workflows.
• Experience with JavaServer Pages (JSP), servlets, Struts, and Spring.
• Competency in HTML, CSS, jQuery, XML, and JSON.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cognos or Tableau.
