Description

You will lead development and team delivery for distributed systems in the Retail/eCommerce domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, owning end-to-end delivery from analysis to production maintenance.
• Design and build resilient, secure microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Coordinate directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements and assess technical feasibility.
• Drive Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and automation to improve team velocity and quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years leading teams.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using Argo-CD, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.
• Experience with message brokers Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Strong database skills in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
• Proficiency in testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber automation.
• Domain experience in Retail/eCommerce with Loyalty/Rewards integrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with New Relic for performance analysis and tuning.
• Strong communication skills for client coordination and global team collaboration.
