You will build and maintain backend analytics solutions using Java, Python, and SQL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend analytics services using Java and Python.
• Integrate application components with SQL databases, Jupyter notebooks, and Tableau.
• Optimize and troubleshoot code across Java and Python environments.
• Write and tune complex SQL queries for analytical deliverables.
• Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to implement requirements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, preferably with the Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Python in analytics or data contexts.
• Expert-level SQL skills and experience with SQL databases.
• Proficiency with Linux command-line tools.
• Experience integrating Java/Python within analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks and Dataiku.
• Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, and Scala.
