You will build and support a risk technology platform designed to automate controls and mitigate management risks across various asset classes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, distributed systems to handle large volumes of product reference data and business rules.
• Build and maintain exception management workflows involving interaction between multiple business divisions.
• Implement automated reporting and data analytics capabilities within a distributed, event-driven environment.
• Integrate platform components with strategic big data solutions and cloud-based initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building Web Services and REST APIs.
• Deep understanding of data structures and multi-threading.
• Solid knowledge of relational database technologies including Db2 and Sybase.
• Experience with Scala and Spark.
• Ability to work within Agile development frameworks.
• Knowledge of big data environments and data analytics.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with workflow technology (Camunda/BPMN) or rule engines (JBOSS DROOLS).
• Background building applications specifically for FID or Equity data.
